LingoTech Translation Tool: Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

LingoTech ("we") is run by Uwe Kind, 2684 New Port Royal Road, Thompsons Station, TN 37179, USA. This policy covers the LingoTech Translation Tool, a private tool we use to add subtitles to videos on our own YouTube channel (youtube.com/lingotech).

What the tool does. The tool uses the YouTube API Services to list, upload, and update subtitle (caption) tracks on videos owned by the LingoTech YouTube channel. It is used only by LingoTech and is not offered to the public.

What data we collect. The tool does not collect personal information from viewers or anyone else. The only data it handles is our own subtitle files and the caption track details of our own videos, and a Google sign-in token that lets the tool access our own YouTube account.

How we use data. This data is used only to upload and update subtitles on LingoTech's own videos. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

Sharing and selling. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties.

Storage and security. The sign-in token and subtitle files are stored privately on a computer we control. Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

YouTube and Google. By using YouTube features through this tool, we also follow the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
